The basics, done properly.
Ola exists because the things women wear every day weren’t good enough. We were always adjusting them.
Replacing them. Settling for “it’ll do.”
So we fixed it.
Everyday essentials that just work.
No adjusting. No overthinking.
No replacing after a few washes.
The pieces you reach for; day after day,
wash after wash.
What started as two friends, a cardboard box desk, in a granny flat has grown into a brand worn by over 92,000 women.
Turns out we weren’t the only ones who wanted better basics.
Where it started.
It was 2020. Lockdowns. Leggings. And the realisation that underwear had no right to be this uncomfortable.
Everything on the market was either trying too hard, falling apart after a few washes, or stuck somewhere between too sexy and too grandma.
Mel and Nadine were in this together, so they did what made sense - they designed their own.
The early days
First desk: a cardboard box.
First warehouse: a granny flat.
First launch: sold out.
That last part told them everything.
There was a gap and women were ready for it.
Ola launched in early 2021 and hasn’t looked back.
Where we're going.
Ola started with underwear expanding into the essential pieces you reach for without thinking.
Built to last. Made to stay in your drawer.
The goal doesn’t change:
Pieces that work so well, you stop thinking about them.
Made for real life.
Still us. Still here.
Still run by Mel and Nadine.
Still on the Central Coast.
Still working with the same people from the early days.
The brand has grown. The focus hasn’t.
Get the basics right. Make them work properly.
Everything else follows.
Obsessively Wear-Tested
We make sure each piece actually works
for every body.
The drawer you actually reach into.
Basics that work together, wear together, and get reached for every single day.
No adjustments required
Fits right from the first wear.
Stays that way.
Made to last. Not replace.
Wash after wash, day after day.
